Which museums are covered?

Every museum with a page here has five free stops. The app has no list: it recognises the work from your photo, so it works in any museum, church or street.

Does it work offline?

These pages stream audio, so you need mobile data or Wi-Fi. The app needs a connection to recognise a work and write its story.

How is this different from the museum's own audio guide?

Museum guides are curated by the museum and cover a fixed list of works. Chiaro is independent, not affiliated with any museum, and narrates whatever you point it at.
